TORC relies entirely on donations to run the charity as we do not receive any government or local authority funding. As you can imagine this raises a variety of challenges on a day to day basis for a small local charity. Business and community support will enable us to increase awareness and funds to help continue with our research. Your business could provide much needed funding and support to help with the production of swelling reduction elevator pillows, steps to recovery booklets to help major trauma patients in their recovery journey, the development of pre-op education videos for patient use and research studies such as; using virtual reality to reduce sedation in knee replacement patients and looking at patients with delirium after hip fracture. You can help make life better for future generations.
