Richard Napier completed his medical training at Queens University Belfast in 2005. He holds a Masters in Clinical Education (Queens University Belfast – 2012) and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2015.

He worked as a clinical research Fellow under Professor Beverland in 2011, and after completing his training in N.Ireland he undertook Fellowship training in arthroplasty, knee and sports medicine within internationally renowned orthopaedic research centres in Exeter and Melbourne.

Richard has published on a wide variety of orthopaedics and trauma, and has presented this research both nationally and internationally.
